The short answer is: usually yes, but under strict conditions. <br\/>At Parte, we believe that good neighborliness and enjoyment go hand in hand. <br\/>That is why we explain how to enjoy a BBQ without violating the rules (or bothering the neighbors).<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, check the Internal Rules (RIO)<br\/>The most important step is consulting the statutes or the house rules of your Owners Association.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The prohibition: Many Owners Associations prohibit charcoal barbecues due to fire hazards and rising smoke.<br\/><em>The solution: Often, an exception is made in the regulations for electric barbecues. These cause hardly any smoke and have no open flame, making them much safer in a limited area. <\/em><\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose the right appliance: Electric is the norm<br\/>In an apartment building, the traditional charcoal BBQ is rarely a good idea. The smoke drifts directly into the open windows of the neighbors above. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why electric? It is faster, safer, and does not produce ash residue or flare-ups. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gas barbecue? Check this very carefully. The use of gas cylinders on balconies is discouraged or even prohibited by the fire department in many buildings due to storage risks.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prevent 'Abnormal Neighbor Nuisance'<br\/>Even if the regulations permit barbecuing, the law states you may not cause \"abnormal nuisance.\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Smoke: Ensure that your neighbors do not have to bring their laundry inside because you are using the grill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Odors: Consider using a lid on your appliance to limit odors and smoke.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Noise: A BBQ is enjoyable, but keep the volume of your guests on the terrace within reasonable limits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safety above all<br\/>A balcony is not a garden; you are close to the facade and your neighbors.
