Cats enjoy looking down on the world. A cat tree by the window, a clear windowsill, or a high shelf provides your cat with its own lookout post. In an apartment, height compensates for the lack of floor space, which is exactly what a cat is looking for. <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

Even in a small apartment, a cat needs a place where it can fully retreat, such as on top of a cupboard, in a basket, or behind the curtains. This private space helps it avoid stress, especially when there is a lot of activity in the home. <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n
