Job description

For our fast growing company, we are looking for a motivated candidate for the position of financial business controller to strengthen our Finance team in Antwerp (Belgium). You will play a pivotal role in the success of Parte, a leading PE-backed portfolio company disrupting the property management space.

 

We are interested in speaking with candidates experienced in financial management, coupled with an entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset.

Role summary

As part of our Finance Team you will be taking ownership in (i) providing data-driven analyses, (ii) assisting with monthly financial reporting to our stakeholders and (iii) providing support during  M&A transactions which underpin our buy & build strategy. You will closely work with the Finance manager and have exposure to both CEO/COO of the business.

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Data gathering, data analysis and data visualisation, to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Analysis and reporting of financial and operational KPIs on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting in monthly P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Taking ownership of optimisation and digitisation of current financial processes including financial closing procedures and daily financial operations.
  • Providing support during forecast exercises and budget preparations.
  • Assisting in financial due diligence exercises within M&A transaction processes.

The role is highly varied and involves working in a supportive and dynamic team. You will be offered continuous learning opportunities in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to come up with new initiatives which can be discussed during periodic management team meetings.

Job Requirements

A master’s degree in business administration / economics or related field.

At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.

You enjoy working with numbers, understanding and telling a story from them.

The ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to form strong relationships.

Accurate method of working and eagerness to take ownership.

Encouraged to work with a digitised/automated mindset.

Proficient with financial software and dashboarding tools.

Fluent in Dutch, English & French.
